Though most locations do not carry a VA contract outside of a skilled nursing center, all communities will encourage you to see if you are eligible for VA Aid and Attendance. In some cases, you could receive up to $3565 a month in assistance from the VA.  

Surviving Spouses of Veterans may also be eligible for survivor benefits under the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit.
